The KIDD receivers come manufactured with the option to attach our rear tang. This machined part fits into an embossed area in the rear of the receiver and is secured with a screw. The locking screw, rear stock screw, and rear escutcheon are provided with this piece.

rear stock screw and escutcheon
If installing on the KIDD Chassis you will not need to use the escutcheon
