Unlike most manufacturers, every component received a finish pass for optimal finish, with grinding done post heat treat without shortcuts. Even the salt bath nitride finish was carefully selected from half a dozen facilities to ensure the glassy smooth function you'd expect. Properly staked, shot peaned, and heat treated.
