The 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge has set the new standard in precision rifle long range performance. Offered in a variety of lengths and finishes, Criterion 6.5 Creedmoor AR barrels offer shooters the ability to effectively engage targets well beyond the 1,000+ yard mark with a semiautomatic rifle platform.

Designed to be cross-compatible with DPMS, Remington, Bushmaster, and Fulton Armory pattern rifles, these hand lapped barrels feature a rifle length gas system designed to accommodate DPMS type (standard AR-15) gas tubes. Each barrel comes complete with a JP Enterprise barrel extension featuring feed ramps profiled to improve feeding and performance with most popular 6.5mm bullet designs.

Chambers are finished, but barrels should be headspaced and installed by a qualified gunsmith

Please note that although many .308 AR bolt manufacturers advertise their bolts as compatible with DPMS pattern .308 AR rifles, lug and bolt face tolerances often vary widely between different manufacturers (as opposed to the AR-15, where there is a uniform industry standard). Criterion barrels are gauged at the factory with Fulton Armory .308 AR bolts. We have also had success in demo rifle testing with bolts from DPMS and JP Enterprises.
