The MSTN Straight Quiet Control Brake / Compensator for the 308 in Black finish has a system of ports to reduce the felt recoil and the climb of the muzzle and to the right. Ideal for the heavy barrels.
The QCB has been cut from solid stainless steel bar stock for greater resistance to heat and burnout. Specs: 304 Stainless .95" diameter x 2.05" long barrel thread is 5/8" - 24". Finished with black Nitite. The outside diameter is .950. The 3 holes should be at 1 O'clock from the shooter when in the tighten position. Tighten brake using a round screw driver in the slotted hole closes to the barrel. The brake comes with a packet of shims to set your timing.
